'Dragon' Sylph over Atlanta, Georgia
- Oct. 15, 2006
[Editor's Note: Chris Ullman described this Sylph as a 'Dragon' in his e-mail, but I had trouble seeing it until I saw his third photo. Then it popped out at me like a thunderbolt and I could then understand why he called it a 'dragon' Sylph, a very apt description (I'm happy to see that many readers can recognize animal Sylph shapes with far greater skill than I). To make it easier for you to recognize the winged 'dragon' shape, I've reversed the order of photos shown at the url listed below. If you CAN'T see the winged dragon in the photos below, send me an e-mail and I can add a Photoshop version with arrows pointing out the parts. ..Ken ]

Photographs of Dragon Sylph Near Atlanta Georgia
photographs taken and submitted by Chris Ullman
Whether or not you are well versed on the subject of "sylphs", I am sure you will find the following photographs to be very interesting...while I was traveling east on US-20 towards Atlanta, Georgia, on Sunday, October 15th, 2006, I snapped the following photos of an "elemental being"....some people call them sylphs, some people call them etheric or elemental beings...whatever they are, you can definitely SEE one of them in the following photographs...I have often seen photos of "sylphs" on various Internet web sites, and the photographer will claim that the photos are CLEAR DEPICTIONS of living animal elementals in our skies...and no matter how hard I look at the photos, I can't see a darned thing, even when the area of the photograph that depicts the "elemental" has been enhanced and/or highlighted... this is not the case with the photographs below, as you will soon see...these photos were taken around 5:00 p.m. EST, on Sunday, October 25th, about 30 miles east of Atlanta, Georgia, on US Highway 20. (My personal interpretation of this is that it depicts a "dragon sylph" attacking some chem spray - what do you see? Beauty is in the eye of the beerholder - wink.) P.S.: Feel free to copy these photos and/or put them up on your personal web site - just be sure to give credit where it is due, and include a link to this web page...
Photo #4 "The Dragon Sylph Attack Continues" - this was
taken a couple of seconds after Photo 3, from a
different camera POV, showing the "dragon's" entire "body":

Photo #3 "The Dragon Sylph Leads the Attack" - this was
taken a couple of seconds after Photo 2 above, from a
different camera POV, showing a bank of chem spray
in the center of the photo, some spray that is being
transmuted into cumulus clouds in a furrow at the top,
and a standard "sylph" just to the right of center:

Photo #2 "Dragon Sylph Rises" - look for the
Dragon's "wings" to the left of its "head";
look at its "forelegs" as they aim toward
the chem spray seen just to its right:
Photo #1 - "Dragon Sylph Rising Over Tree Line" -
look for the Dragon's "head" in the center of the photo
