The £5483 South West Scotland Election Challenge

To celebrate the official start of the 2005 British General Election, I am launching “Simon’s Incredible £5483 South West Scotland Election Challenge.”The maximum sum a candidate may spend on a General Election campaign is £5,483. There is an additional amount of pence per constituent, but this is the basic set sum.I am therefore offering £5483 to the first currently registered election candidate, or current MSP or MEP in the region of South West Scotland who can provide evidence that Osama bin Laden was responsible for the September 11th attacks. Closing date 5th May.

The rule of thumb is that the evidence must be able to stand up in a court of law, you know, that pre-New Labour “beyond reasonable doubt” thing. Evidence can come from anywhere, from anyone, the internet, books, MI5, MI6, CIA, FBI, Mossad anything goes. The one exception to this is that I will not be accepting evidence obtained under torture, be it physical, chemical, sexual or emotional.

In taking up this challenge, potential entrants must overcome the many obstacles along the way. I offer just a few tasty morsels of what they will be up against.

The first challenge is finding out who the heck the hijackers were. Many hijackers turned up alive and well, as reported many times by the BBC, and are still protesting their innocence. Here are the BBC web reports:

Can you imagine how Waleed Al-Shehri feels? He probably still can’t get a job and is probably still having to live at home with his Mum. “Never mind dear, I know it’s hard finding a job as a pilot when you are being named as one of the most evil terrorists in history, but I am sure something will turn up soon. Here, have another cup of tea.”

I strongly invite our MPs, MSPs and MEPs to telephone the FBI, like I did, in 2002, to try and find out who the actual hijackers were. In 2002, there was not one single mention to me of stolen IDs.

When I telephoned, I spoke to their press officer. I began by stating that since the BBC had reported on four hijackers being alive, and non-British newspapers also carried reports of a potential nine hijackers identities being in dispute (including CNN), why were they still listing the people they were as suspects on their web site? There was a huge long period of silence, many minutes, and then I was told that it was because their names were the equivalent of ‘John Smith’, very common, and that was where the confusion was. I was told specifically and emphatically that they still stood by their original list of names.

So then I took a breath, and asked my second question. “In that case, why are you still displaying the original people’s photographs too?” At this point, the press officer slammed the phone down on me, not answering my second question.

CNN released the flight manifests of those who were on board the flights, but don’t expect to find the names of the hijackers:

Oh, and if you are thinking about the photographs from the only single airport security camera that was allegedly operational, I have the original photo. It has two different time stamps, showing different times, making it inadmissable as evidence. And what sort of company goes and designs a security camera with a massive great time stamp right in the middle of the picture, obscuring any important detail you may want to examine? That other photo released last year is not admissible either – it had no time and date stamp – legally it is therefore not admissible in a court of law either.

And our intrepid MPs, MSPs and MEPs, who you and I have heard and seen on the news a million times talk about terrorism, are going to have to do much better than Robert Mueller, Head of the FBI, who on April 19th, 2002, at a speech delivered to the Common Wealth Club in San Francisco, said that the purported hijackers, in his words, "left no paper trial."

The FBI director stated flatly: “In our investigation, we have not uncovered a single piece of paper-either here in the United States or in the treasure trove of information that has turned up in Afghanistan and elsewhere-that mentioned any aspect of the Sept. 11 plot.”

The FBI director explained away the absence of evidence by making the disingenuous assertion that the hijackers used "meticulous planning, extraordinary secrecy and extensive knowledge of how America works" to conceal their scheme.

However, in good old Blighty, a total 100% lack of evidence does tend to suggest a lack of guilt, especially when the buggers turn up alive and well. That kind of clinches it for me. But will it for our MPs?

I would also call upon our MPs, MSPs and MEPs to provide scientific proof that the World Trade Centre Towers collapsed as they did due to the fires that ensued from the crash.

They will have to counter this video documentary evidence by Alex Jones which provides solid evidence that both WTC1 and WTC2 were brought down using controlled demolition:

In this 22 minute clip Alex reports from ground zero and talks to eyewitnesses who were there on the day who reported bombs. Alex also points out the relation of Building 7 to the twin towers and the impossibility that it could have collapsed from minimal fire damage.

No steel building in history has collapsed from fire damage apart from those buildings lost on 9/11. Larry Silverstein, the owner of the WTC complex admitted on a September 2002 PBS documentary that they decided to 'pull' Building 7.

The evidence that explosives were used in the 9/11 attack is so overwhelming that three full length films could have been made on the subject alone.

But wait! We do have much more solid proof that could link the terrorists to Bin Laden.

Although uniformly ignored by the mainstream U.S. media, there is abundant and clear evidence that a number of transactions in financial markets indicated specific (criminal) foreknowledge of the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.

Talking of money, on September 11th 2001, Lt General Mahood Ahmed, the head of Pakistan’s powerful intelligence service PIS, was in Washington. Although due to meet George Tenet, Head of the CIA two days later, he ended up briefing him on the afternoon of September 11th.

However, the following month, the General had been dismissed from his post? Why?

Top sources confirmed here on Tuesday [October 9], that the general lost his job because of the "evidence" India produced to show his links to one of the suicide bombers that wrecked the World Trade Centre.

The US authorities sought his removal after confirming the fact that $100,000 were wired to WTC hijacker Mohammed Atta from Pakistan by Ahmad Umar Sheikh at the instance of Gen. Mahmoud. Senior government sources have confirmed that India contributed significantly to establishing the link between the money transfer and the role played by the dismissed ISI chief. While they did not provide details, they said that Indian inputs, including Sheikh's mobile phone number, helped the FBI in tracing and establishing the link.

I have another idea. Why don’t we let our MPs, MSPs and MEPs go back to that “Osama bin Laden” confession tape, from December 2001, where “Osama” confesses to the attacks:

Have a look at the photo that goes with this article. There is Osama bin Laden on the right. And that chap on the right, he is the chap who confessed to the attacks, even naming the hijackers who were still alive. That is definitely Osama isn’t it? Even though Osama was on dialysis, and very ill, he does seem to have put on a bit of weight and had a nose job just for the vid. Maybe it was a disguise to help him escape from Tora Bora? He need not have bothered, just as our British Army chaps were about to pounce, they were told to hold back, letting him escape. Doh!

The FBI did meet Osama bin Laden in July, 2001 though, when Osama was in hospital. Maybe these guys who met Osama could be tracked down, to ascertain if Osama gave any incriminating clues as to his plans for the up and coming attacks:

ABOUT eight hours after terrorists struck Manhattan's tallest skyscrapers, police in Bergen County detained five men who they said were found carrying maps linking them to the blasts.

The five men, who were in a van stopped on Route 3 in East Rutherford around 4:30 p.m., were being questioned by police but had not been charged with any crime late Tuesday. The Bergen County Police bomb squad X-rayed packages found inside the van but did not find any explosives, authorities said.

However, sources close to the investigation said they found other evidence linking the men to the bombing plot.

"There are maps of the city in the car with certain places highlighted," the source said. "It looked like they're hooked in with this. It looked like they knew what was going to happen when they were at Liberty State Park. "The police and FBI field agents really became suspicious when they found maps of the city with certain places highlighted, box cutters (the same items that the hijackers supposedly used), $4700 cash stuffed in a sock, and foreign passports. Police also told the Bergen Record that bomb sniffing dogs were brought to the van and that they reacted as if they had smelled explosives.

Finally, maybe we should “think outside the box.” I think our MPs could maybe look at one final area where we could find a link to Al Qaeda. That is Iraq.

For didn’t Bush claim a link between Saddam and Osama bin Laden? Didn’t Blair, kind of hint that Iraq would be a breeding ground for Al Qaeda if we didn’t go in and get Saddam? Blair himself was worried about Weapons of Mass Destruction getting into the wrong hands.

So let’s now look to Giulliana Sgrena, the freed Italian hostage, who the American’s shot at using their elite assassination squad. Blair has been looking for evidence of WMD, and here we have Giulliana, writing in Il Manifesto, November 2004:

The sad story of common graves, which started at Saddam’s times, is not yet finished. Nobody could confirm if napalm bombs have been used in Falluja, but other bodies found last year after the fierce battle at Baghdad airport were also completely charred and some thought of nuclear bombs. No independent source could verify the facts, since all the news arrived until now are those spread by journalists embedded with the American troops, who would only allow British and American media to enrol with them. But the villagers who fled in the last few days spoke of many bodies which had not been buried: it was too dangerous to collect the corpses during the battle.

How could Tony and his chums have missed this one? This was after Saddam had been captured, so it must be Al Qaeda right?

Debut Novel Breaks Ground Where Orwell Feared to Tread

Novels about football are few and far between, spiritual novels about football even more so, making the debut novel by Simon Ralli Robinson, “The Yogi Footballer” potentially unique.

The story culminates with the England football team facing a potentially devastating terrorist attack on board their flight from Japan back to Britain, an attack designed to kill all on board, an attack designed to shock and outrage and fill the British people with fear. In George Orwell’s “1984”, the government created a fictional enemy “Emmanuel Goldstein”, as a propaganda tool designed to keep the common people in constant fear. “The Yogi Footballer” has been written to teach its readers just how much the concept of the international terrorism of Al Qaeda, the powerful and sinister network, with sleeper cells in countries across the world, is fantasy. What is a yogi? A yogi is a holy person from India and the Himalayan region. These people do exist, and have what some see as supernatural abilities, to walk on water, levitate, bi-locate, and become invisible. Ben is born with these skills fully developed, but as a child he is not aware that he has them. A British couple adopts Ben and his football-mad father, having no knowledge of Ben’s true destiny, allows his natural football talents to flourish.

Spotted by Southampton F.C., and selected for England, Ben becomes a premiership player with no peer; a global icon, winning the hearts of football fans around the world with his near supernatural ability on the pitch. He lives a life a world away from the tabloid tales of drinking, sex and conspicuous wealth of many of our highest profile premiership players. The only comparison with “Footballers’ Wives” is that much of the action takes place off the pitch.

The back cover of the book describes Benjamin Boddy, The Yogi Footballer, as “a new kind of hero for the aware generation.” The aware generation is this generation, who, unlike the first audience of “1984”, use the independent and not the mass media as their principal source of news, for the aware generation know that many of the alleged 9-11 hijackers are still alive; they know about the dubious stock trades before the attacks; they know about Vigilant Guardian, Vigilant Warrior, Northern Vigilance, TRIPOD II, these being military and FEMA exercises on September 11th that also included a simulated live-fly hijacking of an airliner. This generation used the Internet in 2001 to watch the video of George Bush reading a book about a pet goat when the attacks happened, and this generation immediately asked why no aircraft had been scrambled. They asked all the questions that our media refused to.

As well as being a novel, “The Yogi Footballer” has a reference section at the end, with a final chapter full of references to the sources for the inspiration behind the book, and specific episodes within it. If any reader is still left with doubts about the premise of the book, by the time they read this section, and follow up on the books and web links referenced there, any lingering doubts will soon vanish.

Ultimately, for all the controversy that this novel will create, at its heart is a simple message. Global peace starts with ourselves. The power of our leaders is an illusion. They do not build their house upon the rock; they are not wise people.
