COMMENTS:
Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago and our nation
was the most prosperous in the world, had absolutely no national debt, had
the largest middle class in the world and Mom stayed home to raise the kids.
What the Hell happened???

Subject: Taxes a nations death
Hi Ken,
Interesting times as I see it.
Kanya Vashon McGhee produced a very clarifying list.
It is a world wide problem and I think I do'nt exaggerate if I say that
the Netherlands are masters of tax collection
Kanya mention the 42 cents fuel tax, well here a good 60% of the
gasolineprice is tax. A litre regular unleaded cost about 1,38
Euro
a gallon is 3,785 litre so a gallon of reg unleaded cost Euro 5,22 which
is in Dollars $ 6,36 FOR A GALLON OF REGULAR UNLEADED FUEL!
$3,80 OF THAT IS TAXES AND STILL THEY MANAGE TO COME SHORT ON THEIR FINANCIAL
BALANCE?
Well you got the point.
When you earn montly 2500 euro then the tax, which is deducted right away,
is almost 28% (695 Euro)
Our sales tax is 19% not to mention the extra tax on cigarettes
and alcoholic drinks.
We pay vehicle tax for our cars : every three months and
the price depends on the weight of your car. My car weighs about 1300 Kg
and that alone cost me 270 Euro every 3 months.
TPTB WILL PROBABLY TAX US UNTIL THERE IS NO MONEY LEFT TO
LIVE AND THEN THEY'LL CHIP US. BUT AS WITH THE HURRICANES WE CAN STOP THIS
BY INTEND!
