Well, I think the most intelligent thing to do, if you share the concerns mentioned in the article, is to forget about getting digital TV altogether. At this point, I have no intention of getting the digital conversion box. I can watch recorded tapes and DVDs on TV and be perfectly happy. We mostly watch video tapes recorded in Japan anyway since American TV is a Wasteland of unremitting garbage. I can hear news on the radio and get a much clearer "image" from the internet

Please tell me which program on TV is so important to you that you can't live without it?

Oprah? Smack Down wrestling? Fox News? Dr Phil? Judge Judy? Judge Brown? Jerry Springer? Steve Wilcox? Charlie Rose? Survivor shows? TV Evangelical Brain Washers? Frontline? Jim Leher News Hour? Washington Week in Review? Cops? American Idol? Jail?

Or maybe the new show coming out on ABC in January? Homeland Security, USA? Oh boy, can't wait to see our militarized /flax jacketed/ fully loaded, ninja black face mask, cop 'heroes' take out the potential "terrorists' and "protect our freedoms" .

So what's to miss?

If a sufficient percentage of the public rejected the forced imposition of the digital "highway" and all that it implies, and simply refused to go along, THEY WOULD SWITCH BACK TO ANALOG IN SHORT ORDER.

Why?

They NEED you to watch their favorite mind-conditioning/ subliminal influencing boob tube in order absorb your daily dose of propaganda, deceptions, and lies. Without it, you might actually start to wake up to the subversion and planned destruction of this country by the traitors in Washington and their propaganda minions in Hollywood, New York, Washington, and Chicago. And we couldn't have that, now could we?
