I just read your tribute of Lauren Stratford and the claim that the Cornerstone press had destroyed her ministry. I have respect for Cornerstone and just couldn't help from wondering about a MAJOR question that wasn't examined in your analysis. What was the motive of the Cornerstone press in smearing her? And how can you "know" that everything in her story was true simply because you've been a victim yourself? Are you omniscient? In fact, an unbiased examination of her story raises much skepticism. I read her book when I was in high school around 1992 or so. Satan's Underground was the most graphic thing I had ever been exposed to at that time. I didn't question the story because it just blew me away and frightened me. Then the Cornerstone article raised many reasonable questions in my mind. Due to the fact that Lauren couldn't or wouldn't produce any proof to refute the allegations, I'm led to believe she's not telling the truth. I guess I could say I "know" she's lying because I've been a liar before too; and I know that when you're caught in a lie the easiest way to minimize the damage to yourself is to never recant, it can really hurt book sales. Is my thinking unreasonable?

Your lack of knowledge and naiveté is this arena is stunning. You have no idea of the pressure and cruelty that Lauren was subjected to following her efforts at getting out her story. For a time, she stood up alone for the most part to an ARMY of Satanists arrayed against her working to destroy her reputation and her life. She became exhausted and got cancer. She tried to live out the remainder of her life in peace and quietude, but they dogged her at every opportunity they could to bring misery and pain into her final days. What you STUPIDLY ASSUMED to be a lack of response on her part was due to her exhaustion and a desire to left alone and live in peace.

What a wonderfully simple and charming world you live in.

If you ever had experienced life within a satanic cult, you would know just how foolish your statements and 'conclusions' were.
