Alternative Health Care Treatments Now Legal In CA
New Health Freedom Bill Signed - State Now 'Wide Open'

[Editor's Note: Tim Bolen got involved with defending Dr Hulda Clark against the trumped up charges brought against her a couple of years ago which led to her confinement in jail for a time. The charges originated due to the efforts of so-called Quackbusters, agents of the pharmaceutical cartels, who work with medical boards and local prosecutors to intimidate, jail, and suppress practitioners of alternative, non-drug medicine. Tim not only helped Hulda win her case hands down, but he then turned around and took on the Quackbusters themselves, serving them supeona after supoena and forcing them to expose their callous lies in court rooms from Florida to California. Some of these liars now have to account for themselves before a judge and they aren't doing a very good job of it (can jail time be far away?). Now we have this news that Alternative Medicine is legal in California, something I never expected to see. The California Medical Boards had a history of being one of the worst when it came to supprssing alternative practitioners. Now, they have folded like a house of cards. Will miracles never cease? Today, September 24, 2002, is a very important date in Health Freedom History. For today, California Governor Gray Davis signed into law the most important Health Freedom bill in world history - California SB 577. The paragraph below contains PART of the language in the bill. For Californians, section (c), below makes health care "wide open." Naturopaths, Homeopaths, Nutritionists, etc., are now free to offer services, without harassment. (c) The Legislature intends, by enactment of this act, to allow access by California residents to complementary and alternative health care practitioners who are not providing services that require medical training and credentials. The Legislature further finds that these nonmedical complementary and alternative services do not pose a known risk to the health and safety of California residents, and that restricting access to those services due to technical violations of the Medical Practice Act is not warranted.
California, the fifth largest stand alone economy in the world, has for some time led the nation in percentage (estimated at 75%) of health care dollars spent on "Alternative Medicine." Now, that percentage is expected to increase.
