During two meditations gifted psychic S.T. was given two warnings about possible flooding of the Columbia River. She first heard, "Waterways". After searching the psychic vision she was able to narrow the focus to the Columbia River and the dams blocking the flow of the river. No time frame was given on the potential events.

Ten years ago there was a novel set in British Columbia, Washington and Oregon addressing the disaster which would happen if the highest dam on the Columbia broke. My wife and I tried to "google" a description but did not find the title. The novel was in circulation in Canada and may have not had a second printing. The key points in the novel concerned the "earthen" Mica Creek Dam holding back the huge Kinbasket Lake reservoir. The Kinbasket is larger than Lake Mead. If an earthquake damaged the Mica Creek Dam all the dams on the upper Columbia would be filled beyond capacity.

The towns of Revelstoke, Nakusp, Castlegar and Trail in British Columbia could see a wall of water washing away all structures. There would be time to get a warning to all the towns to evacuate due to the distances the water would have to travel. What is unknown is the ability of the river and its lakes to absorb the great volume of water before it arrives in the USA.

If the water hits The Franklin D. Roosevelt Reservoir and the Grand Coulee Dam hard a cascade effect may collapse the dam and the series of dams along the Columbia all the way to Portland Oregon. In all likelihood one or more of the stronger dams will hold.

The possibility of an earthquake near Mica Creek is strong. The Columbia is fed by glaciers in the Canadian Rockies. The Columbia Icefield is now much smaller than it once was. Ten percent of British Columbia,one hundred years ago, was covered by glaciers. That was about 40,000 square miles or about the area of Virginia. Currently less than half that ice remains. The earthquake danger is due to the possibility of a rebound of the land once covered by ice. If a thousand feet of ice once covered a section of land the land may have been pushed down as much as three hundred feet and in time the land may return to its former position. A three hundred foot uplift is a major quake.

A lot of glaciers are disappearing worldwide and rebound quakes could happen in any formerly ice covered lands. In Alaska the Wrangell-St. Elias glacier retreat could create another major quake in the Gulf of Alaska matching or exceeding the Good Friday 1964 Earthquake. The lifting of the sea bottom indicates that the 1964 earthquake was a rebound event.

There have been predictions that if all the ice in Greenland melted, sealevel would rise 20 feet. For Antarctica multiply by six. I did the calculations for myself and confirmed that there was enough water to flood all the coastal cities. Then I calculated possible rebounds. Huge. Looking at the altitudes of both Greenland and Antarctica, I believe that even with global warming the ice sheets will remain intact. Greenland is 7,000 feet high and much of Antarctica is higher. Both ice sheets are surrounded by mountains. Even if all the coastal ice melts, more than 90% of the inland ice will remain. Sealevel will rise just a few yards. Rebound earthquakes in Greenland and Antarctica will be on the coasts.

Getting back to the Columbia River, it is possible that not one single person will die if all the dams fail. There would be time to evacuate The Tri Cities and Portland. Hydro-electric power generation would be hit hard and for a long time. Hanford could receive flooding. The already radioactive waters below Hanford may become more so, temporarily. The waters of the Columbia would become wild once again as they were before dam building started.

From what S.T. saw psychically the warning was coming from Mother Earth. Gaia wants the waters of the Columbia to run free. She wants to return the water to its natural course and flow. She wants to put life back into the river.

The Columbia once supported huge salmon runs. With the Army Corps of Engineers building dams the salmon run ended. The hydrology for the whole length of the river was altered and the forests changed. Nutrients are added to the Arrow Lakes below Mica Creek to make up for what is blocked by the dams. If food was not added to the river the ecology would have collapsed killing most fish and the birds and animals that live off them.

The salmon migrations are a big part of the natural input of nutrients. The nitrogen they provide helps the growth of trees.

It is fortunate that British Columbia did not need to dam its major salmon rivers such as the Fraser and the Skeena. There is life in the coastal rivers. The Columbia and the Peace River to the north were not so fortunate. With the advent of new energy technologies the rivers of the world will not have the burden of generating electricity. With the new technologies pollution will decrease and the poisoning of water will end. There will be no need to clog the arteries of life into the heart of the continent. There will be no need for dams for irrigation as there will be life filled abundant water everywhere.

Mother Earth has a plan to clear the water and the waterways. After the torrent settles, the fishing will be good.
