June 2 to 4, 2006, the Slovenian artist and geomancer Marko Pogacnik visited the Shuswap Lake region of British Columbia. I had heard of his visit months before and had signed up for the weekend workshop. He has published six books in English. His publishers are Findhorn Press and Lindisfarne Books. He has a dozen books published in German by Knaur, Munich. Marko's website is http://www.ljudmila.org/pogacnik .
For over twenty years Marko Pogacnik has been performing Earth Healing with the assistance of elemental, devic and angelic guidance. His work is parallel to the re-discoveries made at Findhorn and Rudolf Steiner's Schools.
In 1991 he placed nineteen standing stones on the border between the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland in order to heal the aetheric imbalances in the landscape and henceforth conflicts in the world of man. Marko calls such projects Earth Acupuncture. He has been healing the land and people by starting from the spiritual blueprint of the natural world and reinvigorating that plan.
He has brought about natural harmony in Slovenia, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Ireland, Scotland, England, Greece, Israel, Portugal, Brazil, Kazakhstan, USA and Canada. He teaches at the Hagia Chora School in Muehldorf.
He has done a lot of "heavy lifting" working to correct millennia of left brain ego based control of the land and humanity. In Graz Austria, Arnold Schwarzenegger's birthplace, Marko discovered that a natural ley line had been diverted and terminated at a hillside where Adolf Hitler had made speeches after Austria was taken over by the Nazis. This is geomantic black magic, where natural energies were used to augment Hitler's hypnotic control over people. Moves were made to heal the rift in the aether.
Pogacnik has followed a long road of rediscovery that the mystics of all ages have traveled and this road led him to Salmon Arm and Vancouver British Columbia this June. While flying over Fox Basin near Baffin Island in the Canadian north he saw the "Angel" of North America's wings of energy plunged into the ground in the north and arise at twenty to thirty spots on the continent. Mount Ida British Columbia is one of the spots.
With little sleep Marko drove from Vancouver to Salmon Arm and started "Exploring the Invisible Layers of the Shuswap and Okanagan" with the assistance of his student and friend Dieter Bay. Initially by map dowsing he located geomantic energy induction and discharge points surrounding Mount Ida and then visited those points where he could contact the elementals and deva.
At the workshop Pogacnik explained that two hundred years ago a native shaman, seeing the coming of the White Man, set up blockages to the landscape "temple" of Mount Ida. This was meant to stop the misuse of the natural energies. Large elemental beings at Gardom Lake and Blind Bay were aetherically 'bound' to this purpose. Now in 2006 it is time to release them and allow the energies to flow properly. In the group of twenty-three was the representation of the native shaman.
On June 3rd we traveled to Little Mountain five miles northeast of the east peak of Mount Ida in order to view and experience the sacred mountain. After a brief meditation, Marko asked for the images others had seen. A number of people had felt the presence of spirits and souls in chambers and tunnels under the mountain. There was a sense the mountain was a route to the inner earth and a storehouse too. Marko added Mount Ida is a place of regeneration for deceased souls, a Sphinx, and a library of eternal memories.
Next we drove to Rosemond Lake eleven miles northeast of Mount Ida and again meditated. Meditators had a difficult time moving beyond a lot of distractions as an osprey eagle hovered overhead and small animals and birds made much noise to protect their habitat. Marko said this lake was the focus of the soul of the North American continent and energy moved from this lake to Mount Ida.
Next we traveled to Gardom Lake six miles southeast of Mount Ida where we had lunch and meditated. A few could feel the presence of water deva in the lake and on two small islands. During the mediation I sat on the beach and buried an orgonite tower buster in the sand doodling a twelve spoke mandala over it. Marko watched me doodle. I later showed him another orgonite TB and explained it as part of Wilhelm Reich's work. I "gifted" ten TBs during our two day travels as presents to the elementals, Thank You tokens. Pogacnik told us that there were highly developed elemental beings at Gardom Lake and work was done to release the 'spider web blockage' created by the native shaman two hundred years earlier.
Next we drove to Mara Point seventeen miles northeast of Mount Ida and again mediated. Many of us were getting tired and simply rested while Marko wandered in silence. I could see that he was in communication with the invisible ones. Mara Point is across Mara Lake from where I threw one of my "Octos" or large orgonite HHgs three years earlier. Looking across the lake I could see a rock cut for the highway where white bands formed a heart shape in the vertical rock wall. I did not see the design earlier when I threw the Octo in the water. Interesting. After communicating with his muses Marko wrote, "Mara Point: Mirroring different dimensions of Shuswap Holon...initiator of new powers and realities for the future." Interesting.
The last stop before evening dinner we did some earth healing at Sicamous Narrows eighteen miles northeast of Mount Ida. The energies of the narrows were not right. A point of rock had been dynamited to make room for the Trans Canada Highway. With a Canadian Pacific Railway bridge for the mainline and a branching spur-line, the highway and the busy Sicamous channel and its three hundred houseboats, too much was happening at one point of the map. The energy was chaotic, unnatural. Beside the TransCanada Highway we formed three concentric rings, five holding hands in the center, eight in the next circle and ten on the outside. With all of us facing center starting with Marko we commenced "singing". Actually it was intoning but there was no starting note nor designated intone, we simply expressed what we felt. At the beginning it was discordant but after a few minutes we started to naturally blend. After twenty minutes the landscape was transmuting into spirit. The transportation nexus of Sicamous Narrows now has a healing energy portal, another form of nexus.
After supper we viewed slides of Marko's artwork especially the designs he sculpted on most of his landscape acupuncture standing stones. They are beautiful. They feel like crop circles in native rock.
Sunday June 4th 2006 we started by scaling a cliff at Sunnybrae nine miles north of Mount Ida. Five of our number remained on the beach while the rest followed Marko on the twenty minute four hundred foot climb to a copse of pines. The space was full of fairies. Again we mediated. Marko explained Mount Bastion to the east of Sunnybrae is the "heart center" of the Shuswap Holon (holistic design) or landscape temple. Mount Bastion is a smaller version of El Capitan Peak in Yosemite Park California. Climbing Sunnybrae Cliff is much easier than scaling a sheer three thousand foot rock face. Mount Bastion's photo is on the British Columbia Driver's Licence. We all felt enchanted by Sunnybrae.
Before arriving at White Lake Provincial Park sixteen miles north-northeast of Mount Ida, Marko had described the lake as the... "path of the souls (ancestors) coming from the heart center Mount Bastion and going to Mount Ida." Arriving at the park all the parking spots and picnic tables were taken. We parked on the road and walked to the lake. We thought it was a birthday party. We soon learned there was a funeral wake for a young man who requested that his ashes be spread on his favourite fishing lake, White Lake, and his memorial would be a day at the lake fishing. With relatives and friends, fishing poles in hand, the father of the young man spread the ashes on the water.
Marko and crew had arrived at White Lake to honour the path of the dead at the exact moment of the rare funeral at that park (if one ever had happened there before?)
We spread out through the forest in order to do our meditations and I found it difficult to meditate so I did simple grounding exercises for thirty minutes. I am set up for communication with large sylphs not the smaller elementals. I find my best way to help migrating souls is to get out of their path. Looking up I could see sylphs everywhere. The sky was crowded with them. Grounding was the only thing I could do to help the work being done and I knew Marko was doing much of the "heavy lifting".
We next drove to Reedman Point at the mouth of Blind Bay to view Copper Island, nineteen miles north-northwest of Mount Ida. Copper Island: "Archetypal powers of the deep Earth entering the surface." Copper Island has copper coloured basalt cliffs on the south. Meditators sensed the magma came up from great depths and it is of the same volcanic formation as Mount Ida and the Enderby Cliffs. Copper Island and Mount Ida are connected.
We went a few minutes south to a beach mid-point along the east shore of Blind Bay and assembled three concentric rings again in order to release a trapped elemental beneath the waters of the bay. We "sang" for more than thirty minutes and during the intoning I could hear aetheric shouting coming from the direction of Blind Bay. My right ear felt as if it were being twisted and pulled from the side of my head. I opened my eyes and looked towards the bay, choppy water and, then back at Marko, he was putting everything he had into liberating the elemental. The singing ended with everyone in accord and everyone stopping at the same time. The work was done and the energy pathways were unblocked.
The following weekend Marko did similar work in Vancouver and an email from one of the workshop attendees included Marko's comment that Vancouver BC is an unusual landscape temple by having the full representation of the seven chakras in a line along the coast from Point Roberts to Bowen Island. Most landscape temples have fewer than seven chakras and are not along a straight line.
Since June 4th I have continued to keep track of the magnetic compass readings and vortex caused fluctuations regarding Mount Ida. At Salmon Arm the normal magnetic north reading is nineteen degrees east of true north. With vortex deviation the compass had been an additional fourteen degrees further to the east or a reading of 033. Three weeks after Marko's visit the deviation dropped by five degrees to 027. Three days later cloudships appeared and the most beautifully defined lenticular cloud was over Sunnybrae! Magnetic readings stayed at 030 until July 5th and then started bouncing up and down on a roughly four day cycle until July 22nd when the deviation started increasing quickly. On July 23 2006 Shuswap Lake had a sudden electrical storm with over 3000 lightning strikes in two hours. Fork lightning, sheet lightning and ball (?) lightning! Joan and I saw a couple of strokes of cloud to cloud lightning which spiralled upward like a pig's tail. Magnetic reading went higher than I have ever seen before. Today July 30 the reading is 038 and starting to decrease again. The electrical storm caused a lot of power outages and spot fires. Fortunately only two of the strikes became forest fires in the Falkland area 22 miles southwest of Mount Ida. I believe the magnetic readings and other phenomena confirm Marko Pogacnik's work in the Shuswap. The intense electrical activity was specific to the Mount Ida region.
There is a lot happening under our "Sphinx" Mount Ida.
