Book Review: The Mycenaeans,
by Taylour and Chadwick, Published by the Folio Society 2004.
Originally published by Cambridge University Press 1958.

In order to receive, "The Times Comprehensive Atlas Of The World," from The Folio Society I had to order four books. The first one I chose was "The Mycenaeans."

Ever since I had seen a video showing Dr. David R. Hawkins, author of "Power Versus Force", performing some kinesiology which showed that the Mycenaeans were Atlanteans, I needed to look into the subject. I have had a difficult time with some aspects and results of Hawkins' work. Over all I believe, "Power Versus Force" is an important book. My problem is the attachment of a number to an individual to indicate his or her spiritual attainment. People are infinitely dynamic and pigeon holing them with a specific number is limiting.

My conclusions after reading and sifting out the truth from the evidence is that the Mycenaeans are one of many remnants of Atlantis. Linear A, an as yet undeciphered script is probably Atlantean. The solving of the syllabic code of Linear B by Michael Ventris in 1952 is a tool that may make it possible to discover a root language older than Sanskrit. As there were ceremonial uses of Linear A on stone inscriptions and on pottery shards it may have been greatly honoured and used little. Linear B, an ancient dialect of Greek, similar to Arcadian and Cypriot Greek, was the language commonly used.

Linear B, clay tablets were found in the ruins of Knossos on Crete, Pylos on the southwest tip of Peloponnesus, and Mycenae in the northeast of Peloponnesus. The tablets were bookkeeping records and covered a single year or more and unbaked temporary records, that were baked by the fires which destroyed the three cities. The invaders are unknown and the destruction is placed at circa 1475 BC. The long term records were probably written on Egyptian papyrus and none have been found. Mycenaean civilization endured another three centuries and then went into a dark age which lasted until the time of Homer circa 800 BC.

The Iliad and Odyssey by Homer were tales about events late in the Mycenaean period. Homer wrote in a Greek alphabet adapted from Phoenician script. Linear B, is composed of eighty-seven letters. Each letter is a syllable: da, ro, pa, te, to, na, di, a, se, u, po, so, me, do, mo, pa2, za, zo, qi, mu, ne, a2, ru, re, i, pu2, ni, sa, qo, ra3, jo, ti, e, pi, wi, si, wo, ai, he, de, je, nwa, pu, du, no, ri, wa, nu, pa3, ja, su, ta, ra, o, pte, ju, ta2, ki, ro2, tu, ko, dwe, pe, mi, ze, we, ra2, ka, qe, zu, ma, and ku. Seventy-two of the eighty-seven letters have been translated, the remaining fifteen were rarely used and the syllables are as yet unknown. The shapes of half of the letters are based on variations of a trident or three pronged fish-spear. Linear B as a trident based script would be the language of Poseidon. Poseidon, brother of Zeus, was the principle Annunaki god of Atlantis. After the fall of Atlantis, Poseidon built his main home at Pylos.

Pylos' excavations shows a large house with many rooms on a cliff above the Mediterranean. There is a large room with a circular dais dubbed the Megaron. Tuning into the structure is like reading Tolkiens, Lord of Rings' references to Rivendell the House of Elrond. Pylos was a house where Annunaki and mortal dwelt side by side. It was a house where great lore and magic abided. It was a place where ancient wisdom was shared with the new children of Earth, humans. It was a house full of art, murals and music, a house of many abundances not fortified as protection was provided by Poseidon and his children. Also there is great sadness as the promise that was Atlantis fell into the sea. All too often Poseidon in his guise as Dionysus, drank much wine, but after a time he would sober and recognize the new promise of a greater spiritual horizon for mankind without the Annunaki, as the days of the Annunaki were long foretold to be at an end.

Scrying into Pylos I could hear the words Hermes and Apollo pleading with Poseidon to open the vaults of wisdom to pass onto humanity knowledge of the Annunaki, not just the material sciences where they had succeeded but the spiritual insights where they had failed. The fall of Atlantis was firstly a spiritual failure. With the passing of the Annunaki other extraterrestrials would arrive and enslave and befuddle the minds of humanity. The burning of Pylos, Mycenae and Knossos may have been the arrival of the extraterrestrials or one of the last internecine battles between the Annunaki.

There were many Annunaki who did not want to share their knowledge with humanity. Those same descendants of Niburu created wars in order to lower the human population, the very same repression of humanity now being applied by the powers that be of our day. The Trojan War accounts by Homer included the battles of the Annunaki. Hidden in the poetry is the intent of the gods to kill their children. Glory and honour in heroic death? The gods were insane. Only a few saw a spiritual solution.

In the era of classical Greece, The Golden Age Of Athens, the Mycenaean times were called the "Age of the Heroes". Drinking wine around the Megaron, Poseidon and Hermes discussed the future of humanity, Poseidon saw death, Hermes saw life.
