[Editor's Note: The title of this essay is dead on target. Colin Powell has never been even remotely close to the fanciful image that is projected of him by the lying jackals of American media. He has never been a "great" general or a "war hero." He was a zero-accomplishment, ass-kissing Army bureaucrat who was fast-track promoted into the highest levels of military rank for no other reason than he was a "chosen' pawn of the NWO controllers. I could say the same of Alexander Haig, another zero-accomplishment, zero-merit, Army bureaucrat who was fast-tracked into the position of NATO Commander and then into Secretary of State under Reagan. These NWO fifth columnists have both followed the same duplicitous "career track." The SAME cast of NWO traitors simply change costume and enter stage right for yet another scene. When will more Americans wake up to the game? ...Ken Adachi]

How quickly we forget...the treachery of our once-lauded leaders.
Powell did more to get us into Iraq than anyone else, aside from Cheney-Bush; and now when history COUNTS, the public is again stuck in a myopic- romance with a view of this man that never was.
Obama wants Powell inside his administration, which means that Obama shares the McCain view of remaining in Iraq for the next hundred years.
Of course, with the addition of this Empirical Pawn, Obama's new cabinet will represent the very worst of all of those former leaders in their respective fields that Obama is supposedly running to permanently sideline.
So, Obama's message of "CHANGE" in reality only equals the final chapter wherein the failures of the past shall have been successfully unearthed AGAIN: This time to finally "set" our tyrannical policies in the bloodied sands of our criminal past.

Barack Obama Accepts Endorsement Of Colin Powell
Despite The Ex-General's Role In Making The Case for Iraq War ?
While Powell's endorsement is big news, his critical role in the lead-up to the invasion of Iraq has been glossed over, particularly his February 2003 address to the United Nations where he made the case for war with Iraq. Today, we host a critical discussion on what this endorsement means for the antiwar movement and progressives across this country. We speak to David Sirota and Glen Ford.
As we turn now to the most talked about political endorsement of the campaign in recent weeks. On Sunday former Secretary of State Colin Powell endorsed the Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama. The retired four-star general, who served in the last two Bush administrations, made the announcement on NBC's Meet the Press. Powell's endorsement of Senator Obama marks the latest in a series of defections by Republican party members in this campaign. On Sunday Obama said Powell would have a role as "one of my advisors."
The blogosphere is abuzz with praise for Powell's endorsement and many are heartened by his comments on allegations around Obama's religious faith.

"If you look at what Colin Powell said in Washington Post editor Karen DeYoung's biographical book about him. She had said that Colin Powell had conveyed to her that the "JINSA crowd," the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs, which Dick Cheney is associated with, is in control of the Pentagon and pushed us into Iraq and now is doing similar to get us to attack Iran." * see Scott McClellan Questioned about Neocon Push for Iraq War
Republican Senator Ted Stevens from Alaska is on trial for making false statements by failing to disclose "things of value" he received from Veco Corp. A federal grand jury indicted him on 7 felony counts of making false statements by filing false financial forms.
"JINSA is the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs, a hawkish think tank that supported the Iraq war. Thomas Neumann, Jinsa’s executive director, said he was not offended by Powell’s reference, although he was surprised that the former secretary of state would single out a Jewish group when naming those who supported the war. 'I am not accusing Powell of anything, but these are words that the antisemites will use in the future,' Neumann said." - The Jewish Daily Forward, Groups Fear Public Backlash Over Iran
"The Republican is charged with seven felony counts of making false statements by filing false financial forms related to more than $250,000 in renovations to his family's Alaska home. The alleged offenses occurred roughly between 2000 and 2007." http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/10/22/stevens.trial/
"The federal government charges that the 84-year-old Republican accepted and concealed more than $250,000 worth of free home renovations and gifts from Bill Allen, the head of Veco Corp., a now-defunct oil-services company, and other friends. Prosecutors argued that Sen. Stevens willfully chose not to report the alleged gifts on Senate financial disclosure forms." http://online.wsj.com/article/
