Hi, Ken,
I had written to you about the Continental Congress 2009 months ago. Knowing that you have been quite busy keeping us informed about the current swine flu eugenics program, [thank you], I thought I would send you an update.
I have been keeping track of the movement over the last seven months. On 10 October people all over the United States, voted for three delegates from their respective State. A friend of mine and I visited our local polling place to vote here in Pennsylvania. Thinking that I was the only one who knew of this, I expected to find no one there but the two of us. To my delight, quite a number of people from the area had come in to vote while we were there; school teachers, business owners and a township soccer coach.
The word is getting out, but slowly. In talking with our local coordinator, I learned that there were numerous press releases distributed to all the major media outlets including college campus newspapers. I don't watch much corporate news, so I asked if there was any press on this and was told that not even the campus newspapers were reporting. Essentially a total blackout. Big surprise! It looks like this is entirely dependent on word of mouth.
The Continental Congress 2009 is set to convene on 8 November 2009 in Illinois. They will broadcast the entire two week session via internet. This has been fully disclosed to the press.
In brief, the delegates, all Constitutional scholars will discuss the numerous, unanswered petitions for redress filed with all of the branches of our government. This will be an official documentation for the world to see that we the people do not agree with what our government has done and has become. Since all efforts to exercise our First Amendment right to petition for redress have been legally applied and exhausted, they will also discuss what steps, legally and peacefully, need to be taken next.
I see this as an opportunity for everyone to get involved and not sit back to see if someone else will do it. There are local websites set up for each State to keep people up to date. These sites also offer individuals the opportunity to help out and make a difference.
All of the negative darkness out there has to be balanced with its equal weight of positive light and I believe this movement is a part of the light.
In case you have time to look into it, I have included a link to the CC2009 site here: http://www.givemeliberty.org/
