{Editor's Note: I was recently contacted by a magazine publisher in Finland who asked if she could re-print some of my articles in Finnish. I said yes and she assigned Riikka, the writer seen below, to write the translation into Finnish from English. We've been sending a few e-mails back and forth. This is her most recent e-mail concerning Assange and WikiLeaks....Ken]

Hi Ken,
You mentioned that Chomsky never denies the official truth even as he seems
to be criticizing the government.
That leads me to think about all this hustle around Wikileaks.
Do they -Wikileaks- or do they not deny the official truth?
As far as I´ve been reading the site, they're only leaking what was already
known; they just confrm it. Or is it really so that the stuff these leaks
contain comes as a surprise to Americans? I've seen nothing of the 9/11 yet
that would be new information.
What would happen if you took a newsclip of Al-Qaeda and replaced the words
Al-Qaeda and bin Laden with Wikileaks and Assange?
Could Wikileaks be a tool to shut down the internet if it needs be (for
national security reasons) - and for disinformation?
Or could it be that Wikileaks-headlines are media´s revenge for Wikileaks
doing their job ie. investigative journalism?
How is it possible that Assange cannot be found? Just like Osama b. has been
able to hide since 2001... how believable is this?
And this Sweden case: Assange is internationally looked for because he had
sex with a (volunteer) woman without a condom, There will be lots of search
warrants for everybody in the future, I guess :D
Riikka
By the way, Finland is not an uncorrupted, everybody´s-so-happy-country that media tells
about. We have institutional corruption, by which I mean corruption built
into the system. Also, Finland receives yearly more rebuke from the EIT (European Court
of Human Rights) than all the other Scandinavian countries put together,
from human rights violations etc. Transparency International Finland is partly financed by the government
so.....
Riikka,

Hi Riikka,
WikiLeaks is sent memos and communications, some labeled 'secret', but many with lower security classification, that are copied by insiders within the government embassies, or in the military , etc. Some of these memos reveal corruption and skulduggery in high places and low. Some of these memos expose corruption and unconstitutional abuses of power and authority. Some of these memos expose a portion of the lies that we are constantly being fed by the government and the military to conceal false flag operations, unjustified invasions, deception, murder, torture, graft, bribery, rigged elections, etc. .
The government and the military now classify ALL of their documents as secrets or a breech of national security if revealed. However, this is in itself an abuse of power since they are covering up THEIR corruption, abuse of power , and crimes which they are committing in OUR NAME as government officials or military personnel They are not 'protecting' anybody, but themselves from being exposed for illegal and corrupt conduct.
What WikiLeaks is doing is necessary and beneficial to humanity. Assange is a man of enormous courage and fortitude. Very few people would have the guts to do what he is doing.
Government officials are in touch with Assange through his attorney. He is not hiding from them. He's keeping his location secret because he doesn't want to be assassinated. The CIA or military intelligence groups or Mossad or MI6 would be eager to arrange for his "suicide" or a fatal "accident". That should be obvious.
Of course, the goons in government will threaten all kinds of repercussions in the wake of WikiLeaks exposures. That's what tyrants do when you catch them with their pants down. They threaten you. But you can't stop tyranny by cooperating with it; by sticking to the rules set down by the tyrants. You must fight it head on and expose it for what it is, regardless of the threats being made.
Al-Qaida (or Al-Qaeda, or more correctly, Al-CIAda) and Osama bin laden are products of the CIA. Julian Assange and WikiLeaks are not.
It doesn't take a lot of brains to see that the women involved in the charges against Assange were either plants or are being coerced to act as "victims" of his "abuse" by not using a condom. The charges are absurd and it will likely never go to court unless Sweden plans on being the laughing stock of the world. It's just a media-inflamed smear campaign to make Assange look guilty of something in the eyes of the uninformed while they are trying to shut down WikiLeaks. It's all about putting pressure on Assange and his web server, and to deceive the public that he's "guilty" of something. They ALWAYS concoct a smear campaign whenever they are trying to shut up someone as courageous and dangerous as Assange.

Hi Ken;
Read your wikileaks article with great interest. I am not sure I
can agree with your assesment. I have read several articles on both Jeff Rense and
Above Top Secret that make some compelling arguments that Julian is being paid by
George Soros and that Wikileaks may in fact be a Mossad front. Not sure I concur
with either side however, thanks to sites like yours
I approach such info with a
healthy dose of scepticism..Have you seen these articles.
Thanks ED

Hi Ed,
Yes, this story can invite Machiavellian scenarios.
I don't know what proof has been offered concerning Soros paying Assange. Soros is Illuminati and part of the NWO takeover team. Should we trust or believe anything he might say or claim in this regard? I'm not sure he made any claims, of course. We have your reading at Above Top Secret which is heavy with conspiracy minded people. What proof was offered to substantiate these claims?
I just read an article by the former Army Chief of Staff of Pakistan and he is making a similar pitch that the WikiLeaks commotion is a set up to discredit and embarrass countries which the US would like to weaken and hobble such as Pakistan and Iran. And it's possible that it is a set up, but I'm not ready to go there at the drop of a hat.
Assange releases a lot of data, some of which reveals government corruption and collusion in destructive agendas. On the surface, I see this as a positive step for empowering citizens and exposing the government's stifling culture of secrecy -which is destructive to a republic or a democracy. When the public is deceived and left ignorant of government conduct, then corruption flourishes and we move closer to enslavement and the totalitarian police state-and loss of our constitutional guarantees.
Assange has released documents composed by government diplomatic employees and government military people. We are not reading Assange's opinions or his analysis of anything, as some have erroneous stated by alluding to his "reports." The guy simply uploaded the government documents to the internet. We need to bear this in mind.
Whatever fallout is experienced by individuals or countries, is not the doing of Assange, but rather the contents of those cables and the people who composed them. That's where our focus should remain; not on Assange, but on the contents of those documents.
If we curtail secrecy in government, then we all win. They depend on the "need" for secrecy in order to bamboozle us into unjustified invasions and wars; or torturing innocent people at Guantanamo or Bagram. The list of sins is endless. Look how much the public gains with the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), despite the heavily redacted copies returned to the inquirer.
The Machiavellian scenarios are minor in comparison to the greater cause of revealing to the public just what goes on in the bowels of this government.
It's OUR government, not THEIRS, and we have the RIGHT to know. Without knowing, we lose all control and power in decision making and we will perish as a nation.
