Can you imagine a place where all knowledge and everything were simply given to you on a wish or a whim? No challenges, nothing to strive for nothing to be curious about, no struggle to learn anything, no goal to aim at or achieve? This is exactly why I write that these are spiritual tests, challenges to each an every one of us. Nothing worthwhile (or 'worth' anything) comes easy (it may come fast because we've altered our perceptions--but even this involves dropping illusions which is not without it's share of difficulty).
Most of us understand how much more valuable even the simplest things in life are to use when we work hard to get/achieve them. It is that part of the rule of irony (the overcoming of limitations and the limitations/obstacles being tests themselves) that allow us to grow and become stronger. The sky may seem like it's falling, but it's not, nor is it the 'limit'. There is NO limit for us--how boring and terrible it would be to have everything given to us. I recall a Twilight Zone episode from many years ago in which a man died and thought he had gone to 'heaven' because he could have anything he wanted, and even gambling with the offer for some randomness was worthless to him because it was still under his control. He then learned that he was in 'hell'. Although I don't ascribe to literal versions of either place (though each of our experiences are created by us in spirit, and therefore can be virtually anything), I thoroughly understand (having observed) dark vortexes and knowing that the keys to escape these are experiential, not a punishment but a true learning experience. This physical density, now, is for learning. Helplessness, hopelessness--nope--these are temporary limitations to be overcome, not permanent. There are places/experiences of such beauty words cannot describe them. This is why I don't look back at the reaper--I look forward to our true potential with joy--a goal and future that is bright and inspires me.
