Hi Adrian,

In general, I don't think it's right to tell people what they should or shouldn't believe in terms of spiritual concepts.

It's perfectly logical to a person who had troubles in his life, due to immoral or destructive behavior, to believe in the idea that he will be "saved" by Jesus (and thus be renewed in spirit and his outlook on life) when he is told that he merely has to accept Jesus as his savior and perhaps go through some sort of baptism ceremony again (or just accept the idea of a second baptism into a "new" understanding of his relationship with Christ, etc.).

I was raised in a very rough city and I've met plenty of people who had drug or alcohol problems and they felt saved in this way, so I don't knock people who go that route.

I do object to the promotion of End Times, Armageddon, British Israel, or Rapture ideas because it has nothing to do with the teachings of Christ (which were lessons on moral behavior) and everything to do with deception and brain washing to achieve the goals of Zionism, which is to destroy Christianity and enslave humanity under their control.

I also object to the overwhelming tendency of fundamentalist Christians to be judgmental and condemnatory of others who don't agree with their spiritual views. Fundamentalist preachers have a long history of claiming to talk to God and telling their audience that God told them this or that, or that God has anointed them with the "mission" to go out and "save" others and "help" them find Jesus etc. I'm against the idea of evangelism, as it is both arrogant and presumptuous to assume that you have the right to decide on what someone else should believe when it comes to spiritual concepts. It's OK to try and help someone see a more spiritual path if they ASK for your advice or thoughts. It's also OK to set an example by your behavior to inspire others to walk a more spiritual path, but to knock on the door of strangers and try to sell your concepts of Christianity, as if you were selling vacuum cleaners or Avon products, is totally wrong.
