With all that you see and have access too, I thought it might fit some sort of pattern...?

Here in Columbus OH on 8-30-2008 we had clear skys, but it was white hazzy, no clouds but not bright blue, only toward sundown could you see what looks like white streamers with blue between like a comb has gone through the high wispy clouds, at the same time, there were NO aircraft at all, all day, this is strange because of the international airport and some 8 to 10 smaller airports around, 2 of which are within 10 miles of my place.

Normally there are all sorts from small to large aircraft and then some hot air ballons, especially with the clear sky's and lack of wind.

Again on 8-31-2008 I drove to Dayton OH, 80 miles west of Columbus and the sky's looked the same, no wind, white hazzy, no aircraft, AND only a handfull of birds. I watched this as I drove up and back. In Dayton there is another international airport and also many smaller, but also Wright-Pat Airforce Base. There is ALWAYS some type of large airforce carrier or fighter aircraft about. (Their landing path is right over I-70 as you come into Dayton from the east)

So for two glorious, (non-sprayed- nope not one spray plane either (which is very NOT normal)) there has been this haze (perhaps dust from the many volcano's erupting?) and NO aircraft (not to mention the lack of birds).

Found it very odd and strange but like I said, I have no information background to make anything of it.

On a different note, I ride my bike in the mornings, early, on the weekends. Three weeks ago and also again two weeks ago, I saw an army of sylfes and what looked like to me (my words) and angel, it had huge wings with rainbow colors and the sun as a body (the "real" sun was just to the left by a handspan (distances from my hand in front of my face). They were attacking the spay from the jets or the jets were spaying them? There was no contest, you could feel the energy. I will be taking a camera out with me from now on and maybe will be able to get some pictures.

I check educate-yourself everyday. I have learned so much and been led to new discoveries--especially thank you for Lobsang Rampa information. Like you, I took to it like a duck to water.

Now to my observation here also in Columbus Ohio area--I just read the e-mail sent about the absence of aircraft, etc. that was observed by someone else. Today is Sept. 1, yesterday and today I have seen absolutely nothing in the sky. No clouds (not one), no airplanes, no sylphs, no spraying. The sky appears clear (kind of)- maybe a light haze? It is not bright blue.

The sky here is always very active--but this is getting spooky. I miss the sylphs. Like the previous e-mailer, I too saw beautiful patterns and angelic-like shapes; it was almost 2 weeks ago on August 20. The sylphs were stunning with intricate patterns that I just can't describe. It was awe inspiring and lasted quite some time. Anyway that's my brief story--it's almost like the sky is 'hushed'.

I know a lot of personnel have been deployed to the gulf coast, but it seems strange. Hope you get to the bottom of it.

Also, there is a curious post by someone who saw a well-defined wedge of clear blue sky in the middle of a fairly cloudy sky in Florida. There is a pic ( no photo) which is more of an artistic representation of what he actually saw:
