Hello bernardabio@hotmail.com,
When you submit your personal essay/paper on immigration to your journalism class, will you also leave it unsigned as you've done here?
What "influenced" me to write an essay on 20 million illegal aliens in America is the cost to the American taxpayer to subsidize those illegals, the loss of American jobs to illegals, the cost to school and provide medical care for illegals, the cost to incarcerate illegal criminals in American prisons and the impact of crime committed by illegals on American citizens. After that, we can talk about the outflow of 40-70 billion American dollars illegally gained by "undocumented workers" to benefit the pueblos, towns, people, friends, relatives, family members , and governments of Mexico and Central America.
Wonderful for the illegals and their families and towns in Mexico or El Salvador, but not so good for the American people.
That's what influenced me.
When the American dollar falls low enough and the American economy begins to implode and Americans lose their jobs left and right, you will see the "immigration issue" come to a close very quickly. You will see an end to illegal aliens marching in the streets of America demanding "their rights"
