Hi Ken,
I'm glad to see that you brought up the importance of laughter the other day on the
Evident Footprints show (Don Nicoloff by the way cracks me up with his humor). It
brings to mind a comedy skit by the 3-stooges that I may have written about to you a
while back, I can't quite remember. To me it symbolizes almost a profound example of
the power of mind over matter, insofar as humor would play a role in it.
(laughing gas) when a bomb filled with it explodes nearby. This starts fits of
uncontrollable laughter and they proceed to fearlessly dispatch the enemy with ease,
laughing as bombs whiz by their heads, saying, "we could have been killed!
hahahahaha" Eventually of course the gas wears off, they realize where they are and
'remember' that they're supposed to be afraid.
As a metaphor on the folly of war this little comedy bit encapsulates how the
malevolent power of fear fuels the engine of control on this planet as it is
presently constituted. i.e.; life is held in an imposing grip of matter over mind,
whereas the inherent state of our power as spirit beings is just the opposite.
