Subject: Residential harassment via military sorties

Dear Ken,
Military aircraft flank a particular place of residence over and over again of their choosing. I know this because it happens to me and I can recall their method of operation - Wing Leader to the left of the house, followed by Wing Man to the right of the house - and not just with one pass, but with two passes (after having bounced the final 'waypoint' a little while later).
I was not aware of this kind of harassment until several years ago while I was out doing yard work in the morning one day. A C-130 flew right over my head with what I estimate a 200 foot [above the ground] ground radar clearance (I was merrily mowing away and was startled by the extra noise I was hearing, only to see two faces capped by helmets smugly ensconced within their intimidating prowl).
I have moved since then, but now it's not just C-130's, but the repertoire now includes fighters. I am somewhat familiar with Air Force aircraft and how they operate and I know that pilots follow waypoints that are predetermined into their navigation system for a routine combat air patrol, mission, or training. To give you some idea of how often this occurs: I have been witness to a pair of A-10's yesterday, C-130's three weeks ago, and a pair of F-22's last month.
So they waste thousands of dollars of taxpayer money on these pointless missions, but it gives me something to say and I will say this - this type of sortie makes its presence known whenever I'm out doing yard work to notice - such impeccable timing. I'm not disturbed, but more amused by it. I can think of reasons for harassment by The Powers That Be, but this is a bit overkill in my opinion.
