FROM MISS FAITH KONE
Dearest One
Please do not be offended by this mail or the way I contacted you, it is about the
only way I could get to you after going through your profile considering my
present situation in which i found myself.
This, however, is not mandatory nor will I in any manner compel you to honour it
against your wish. I am Miss Faith Kone, 21years old and the only daughter of my
late parents Mr.and Mrs.Kone My father was a highly reputable business magnet-(a
cocoa merchant) who operated in the capital of Ivory
Coast during his days.
It is sad to say that he passed away mysteriously in France during one of his
business trips abroad last two year 12th.Febuary 2005.Though his sudden death was
linked and suspected to have been masterminded by an uncle of his who travelled with
him at that time.
But God knows the truth! My mother died when I was just 4 years old,and since then
my father took me so special. Before death he called me in the hospital and told
me that he has the sum of four million, five hundred thousand United State
Dollars($4.5m) left in fixed suspense account in one of
the leading banks here in my country.
My father told me that I should not let any of our relations to know about this
money and if they know about it, that they will do nothing but to kill me in other
to take hold of every thing, He told me that I should seek for a foriegn partner
abroad who will help me transfer this money to his
or her account in abroad and also travel with him or her in other to continue my
Life and Education and also to start a Bussines relationship with the person whom
can take care of me in the future
He further told me that he deposited the money in my name on the document proving
the deposit of the fund in my possession now, I have visited the bank but i was told
to provide an account where the money can be transferred.
I am just 21 years old and a university undergraduate and really don't know what
to do. Now I want an account overseas where I can transfer this fund. This is
because I have suffered a lot of set backs as a result of incessant political
crisis here in Ivory Coast . The death of my father
actually brought sorrow to my life. Please, I am in a sincere desire of your humble
assistance in this regards.
Please, consider this and get back to me as soon as possible.
Thank you so much.
Best regards,
Miss Faith Kone

Dear Miss Faith Kone,
Please be assured that I am not offended by your note and I can't thank you enough for asking me to help you figure out how to spend and manage your 4.5 million inheritance. I really feel honored that you should pick me, out of all the people found on the internet, to send this e-mail to. I notice that you refer to my profile. Perhaps you can tell me where you found that, as I've seemed to have lost track of where I had posted it?
Anyway, I was fascinated to find out that your father was one of the highly reputable business magnets of the Ivory Coast. Could you tell me if he was an ordinary magnet of the powdered oxide variety or a member of the ALNICO class? Or was he a member of the more elite Neodymium class? I suppose it's just elitist snobbery on my part to even ask such an impudent question, but I'm terribly curious all the same (I hope you don't mind my asking).
I'm so sad to hear of your father's passing on the trip to France and your strong suspicions that skull duggery with your uncle was involved. I was slightly curious, however, when you refer to his death as having occured two years ago on Feb. 12, 2005. Wouldn't two years ago be 2007? (Forgive me if I seem too picayune about minor things.)
Frankly, I have to admit that it's rather titillating when I think about traveling the world with a 21 year college student from the Ivory Coast (I'm sure that you're a stunning beauty) helping you to manage your father's fortune.. Since I'm only human, you can imagine the naughty thoughts that must arise in my mind when I consider the circumstances in which we will find ourselves! (But perhaps I'm being too forward; please forgive my impudence. We'll have plenty of time to get to know each other-soon enough, hey?)
I'm glad that your father had the foresight to forewarn you about your relations. As you know, relatives can be a source of concern when it comes to matters of inheritance squabbling and since you are the man's daughter, there's no reason to expose yourself to the potential of being ripped off by relatives. It's far better to entrust your money to someone like me, who you already know and can trust.
I'm sure I can find a bank account where I can park your inheritance. Perhaps Japan would be the best choice since your e-mail apparently goes to Japan first before it reaches you in Africa. We can set up an account where I'll be the administrator of the account and you can withdraw some funds for your immediate needs, as long as I co-sign the checks (alas, the burdens of a trustee!). Of course, how much I permit you to withdraw from the account will be largely determined by how 'nice' you are to me when we are alone :-)! I'm sure this sort of incentive arrangement is just what you were hoping for and I'm more than happy to oblige.
