Ken,
I got a real charge out of that letter that the Rev. Bill Craig sent you.
In the past, I've read quite a bit of your own writing, and I think it's
safe to say that you and I are somewhat like minded. True, there are things
posted on your site I don't agree with - Hell, there are some things posted
here that YOU don't agree with. But all in all, I'd say that our basic belief
structures are similar.
Bill told it like it is. In many Christian faiths, you're presented with
a set of instructions that when you see info that blatantly and totally contradicts
your "beliefs", you turn off. When he saw that line about "immortal
spirit beings who have lived out thosands of other physical lives", he
shut off. It's a defense mechanism that the Church programs into the minds
of it's followers. Iknow, I've been one. They very well can't have their heads
poisoned with such blasphemy. I don't really know that there's anything particularly
blasphemous the idea that we're reincarnated.
The next thing that their programming compells them to do is to confront
the tool of satan (in this case, you) who would profess such wrongheaded beliefs.
Ken Adachi is a soul that needs saving, and the Reverend Bill has the tools
to extricate your demons ("Get thee behind me, Satan!")
I still am stymied by the level of ignorance this guy is operating at that
would cause him to infer from a statement about reincarnation that you don't
believe in God. let me ask Bill a question:
Bill, you stopped reading after that first line. Why? because you didn't
agree with it? You obviously didn't read far enough to know that Ken does
believe in God. Did they teach you in Sunday School that you should turn off
your brain every time you hear something that's contrary to the good book?
Let me give you a piece of advice buddy. As someone who believes in God, and
Christ, and Reincarnation, I suggest you ask yourself if the Creator of the
Universe is really petty enough to cast a soul into eternal damnation just
because he spent seventy-odd years believing in reincarnation. Why don't you
look past your fear, and try and get in touch with that which your Church
doesn't want you to know about - your own soul.
He never said what faction he's with, but I'll bet fake fiat dollars to real
doughnuts he's a born again Christian.
-God Bless

Dear Ken: I see that you got one member of the Christian family who objects
to my
answer to you. Please allow me to respond. My comments will be placed upon
Michael
Schinn's objectionable note.
I have always felt that one who has not read the Bible entirely, is not well
educated.
