Subject: Provoked
Hi there Ken,
I sent you an e-mail with attachment and received an automated response rejecting it and redirecting me to this address. I would be obliged therefore if you read the attached e-mail together with its own attachment.
Best regards,
Dave Strickland

Hi Dave,
The subject of aliens and earthlings is a complex matter. You felt the Show Up piece was legit and got offended that I didn't see it that way. Then you projected that I don't believe in crop circles.
You shouldn't do that.
If you feel that you should promo the Show piece, then you don't need my permission or agreement. The fact that you are even writing to me should tell you something about your convictions.
Truth is an inner search. You do what feels right to you.
Regards, Ken

Hi Ken,
Thank you for your reply. To correct you, I am not offended your view differs (or that of anyone else). Everyone has as much right as I to see the world as (s)he sees fit. Also, I did not project that you don't believe in crop circles. I should not do that (jump to unwarranted conclusions, occasioned by my having sloppy thinking). What I projected doubt on was whether you believed it or not, because your stance has robbed me of the ability to know. It really seemed to me you were doing what so many do: throwing the baby out with the bath water. I need to be given a different impression.
Your further-on statement made me think ("the fact that you are even writing to me should tell you something about your convictions"). After pondering this and asking myself "Why did I write to you?" I found the reasons are the same as when I always communicate with others when there is a difficulty of some sort. For one, I am open minded and willing to listen to things which challenge me. My father always had a wise saying: "Hold onto what you perceive is the truth, and let go of it only when something else comes along which is nearer the truth in your perceptions". So my attitude to your comments was that I wanted to find whether my views about good ETs helping to save us from ourselves as expressed in "Do You Wish That We Show Up" were on shaky ground because of someone else appearing to suggest this to me. What you suggested to me was a blanket dismissal. Perhaps you don't have the time to pay much attention to it because it isn't worth your while. It is certainly worth my own while, and I had painstakingly prepared the preamble to that piece in order to distribute it. It was annoying for that reason alone, not because you looked at it differently from me. If I had been closed minded I wouldn't have given your thoughts the luxury of a second moment in my mind and taken precious time sending you my previous e-mail, the same as I am doing now.
It might interest you to know that I reject the "helpful ET" scenario being put out by "The Allies of Humanity" by Marshall Van Summers". It is because this approach is guilty of the very things you yourself might accuse it of, and I see it too. I find much in your overall writings I agree wholeheartedly with, and I am indebted to you for being the beneficiary of your labours in producing your web material.
When it comes to belief in Jesus or in aliens or in politics, people all of a sudden start to get angry and act either aggressively or like ostriches. The proof of the pudding is in the eating. There was a time I used to expend a great amount of effort in, for example, trying to convince Jehovah's Witnesses or Mormons where they were going wrong. I was able to do this, or try to do this, because of my own similar background. I learned that it's a complete waste of time. If people want to duck truths which come into their lives, or prefer to choose untruths, let them get on with it. If they don't listen then their fate is on their own heads, not on mine. In the end, though, it will come out all right, because we are all spirit beings on eternal journeys, and one of the ways to progress spiritually is to make small or gigantic mistakes using the gift of free will, and learn from them, even if at great cost.
If ever I find myself faced with the invitation to enter a spacecraft to escape future problems on earth, it will not be because I am throwing caution to the winds and taking a big risk. I have God and a personal Saviour Yeshua who love me enough to protect and guide me if and when that time comes. God promises protection in your life, but He doesn't have to take you out of this world to do it. However, there are worlds other than this one which I am sure human beings will eventually be invited to taste.
