Using Nukes or Water, Fracking Is Fracking

Puzzling over the complex seismic activity witnessed worldwide, and especially in the search for Abiotic petroleum and natural gas, I believe hydraulic fracking is working hand in hand with nuclear fracking.

On May 17, 2012, there was a 4.8 Richter quake in east Texas near the Louisiana border. On May 18, 2012, there was a 4.3 quake in the same area. There are many oil wells in this region and it is likely that water is being pumped deep underground (about 5 kilometers or 3.1 miles) to release more petroleum and natural gas. This water also releases tectonic pressures, causing earthquakes.

In the 1960s, the Russians developed the technology of nuclear fracking: exploding nukes at the deepest point they could drill (about 10 kilometers or 6.2 miles). This allowed deep oil to seep upward. When they again drilled into the same area months or years later, they had massive blow outs; polluting whole forests with crude oil and forcing them to burn or flare huge quantities of natural gas, lest they smother the citizens of Siberia.

British Petroleum (BP) encountered the same problems in the Gulf of Mexico eight months after the detonation of a small nuke at 10 kilometers depth on August 18, 2008 when they drilled a hundred or more kilometers northeast of ground zero. The second drilling released huge amounts of natural gas and blood red crude oil.

Hydraulic fracking at 5 kilometers depth, hundreds of kilometers away from the 10 kilometer nuclear fracking, is a way of preventing massive blowouts.

It still causes earthquakes.

There have been about fifteen nukes exploded under the Gulf of Mexico and the existing array of wells along the Louisiana and Texas coasts are gathering up increased flows of oil and natural gas. It is possible the oil and natural gas are moving laterally into the old oil wells of mainland Texas.

The oil companies are trying to limit their liabilities by using hydraulic fracking instead of directly drilling into high pressure oil and gas. They are using the rocks and sediments as a sieve/regulator slowing the explosive releases. There are earthquakes being effected and the oil companies are 100% responsible for them. Insurance companies should be suing oil companies to recoup earthquake payouts.

Youngstown, Ohio had many buildings damaged by a tremor 5 kilometers under its streets. Ohio is not earthquake prone. Neither is Texas. The buildings in both states are not built to California's earthquake standards. The hydraulic fracking in Pennsylvania is also contaminating water wells. There could be class action suits launched at the oil companies involved. I do not believe nuclear fracking has been used in Pennsylvania, but there might be a 10 kilometer blast causing a 6.0 Richter quake in the future.

This type of exploration for deep oil is worldwide. There have been 10 kilometer blasts under most parts of Australia and off its northern and southern coasts. In a few years, Australia could be exporting more oil than Saudi Arabia. Forty years ago, there was little evidence of oil under any part of the land Down-Under.

There is a huge glut of oil now rising through the sediments under many nations, and oil, even now, should be less than its current $100.00 (approx.) per barrel.

The fracking class action lawsuits against oil companies may happen at a time when they would not be able to afford them.
