Ken,

In order to survive centuries of colonizing efforts from Europe, there was an extremely strong spiritual protection in place in Thailand. Even though Siam succumbed to Japan for a few years and the USA has been corrupting it since the War in Vietnam, it is still free of the bankers claws. I can feel the power of its protectors.

Only a few nations have remained independent through the centuries: Tibet until China invaded; Ethiopia survived two Italian invasions ordered by the Vatican (until a communist dictator replaced Selassie); Thailand; and Afghanistan. In all these lands there is a powerful spiritual defense probably millennia old.
