Throughout the Cold War, the Russians occupied these islands and the USA did not contest it. Stalin, as early as the 1926, might have claimed them back by placing Soviet citizens on them. Did Seward buy them from the Tsar with the purchase of Alaska? I do not think so. The claiming of Wrangel in 1881 was empire building similar to Cortez claiming Mexico for Spain. Of course, the Tsar's earlier claim on Alaska was empire building too.

The Russians are the ones who, using their own deep drilling technology, found the oil. The Russians have deep oil wells, the length of their northern coast, in Arctic waters. Enough oil is being developed in the Arctic by Russia to run the world for centuries.

This might be a situation where unpopulated islands, rich in oil, are claimed by nations well beyond their territorial waters. The Spratly Islands in the South China Sea are claimed by Red China, the Philippines, Vietnam, Brunei, Malaysia and Taiwan. The Islands are just a few feet above sea level and there is a lot of oil beneath them.

At one point, there was going to be a sea battle over the Spratly Islands, but somehow the problem was resolved. Many nations have garrisons on the chain of islands.

In the Wikipedia article, the single oil corporation sited in the conflict was Crestone Oil out of Denver. The name Crestone has a lot of baggage associated with it.

There are corporate interests driving the agenda trying to grab these resources. The issue of conflict may drive up the already inflated prices of petroleum and natural gas, at a time when there is so much deep oil being developed, there is enough for the entire world for the next 500 years.

The article by Joe Miller does not address the abundance of oil already found in Alaska, nor the greater abundance in Siberia. Miller would have the reader believe America is running out of oil.

I believe Miller's article is part of the geo-political psi-ops called "Peak Oil" creating the belief oil is in short supply and will be rationed at some future date. The Al Gore Carbon Credit derivatives are part of this drive to convince people to conserve oil at the same time corporations and nations are finding deep oil everywhere around the planet. The need of the greedy to "fix prices" at higher rates is obvious.

Petroleum prices appear to be coming under the same monopolistic controls as diamonds. One company, De Beers, controls most of the mining, cutting and marketing of diamonds. There is an abundance of diamonds, but they are priced as if they were scarce.

Gold appears to be another commodity priced higher than it should. All of the supplies of gold and annual mining statistics are not included in the commodity board prices. Supply and Demand figures are out of line. Actually, Congress does not know how much gold the Federal Reserve has on inventory.

The price of petroleum is being driven by monopolistic speculation on the "Future's Market," not by supply and demand.

Also, adding to confusion in the marketplace, the rules of supply and demand were altered by French perfumers. Many perfumers established the centuries-old practise of driving perfume prices higher during years of scarcity. Hiding the inventory, they skewed the normal constraints of supply and demand. In a monopoly, price is based on what the market will bear, not on actual supply. In a monopoly, information on actual supplies is withheld from the public.

The economic "law" of supply and demand is man made, not natural. In a world of abundance, scarcity is nonsense. Political and corporate monopolies create disparities. Greed is not good.

Wrangel Island is a place I investigated in 1984.

During a phone call with my teacher, he gave me a riddle: "What is 190 degrees West and above 72 degrees North?"

I immediately knew that there was no 190 degrees West. By convention, 180 degrees is the end point for longitude measurement both east and west. Going to an Atlas, I saw Wrangel Island at 170 degrees East and 72 degrees North and this place was towards which my teacher was directing me. He was also pointing out that the "west" was claiming the island.

I studied and remote viewed the island. I felt its magnetic field from afar. It felt ancient. There were astral cities hundreds of miles above it and there were hollows beneath it. I did not associate these hollows with petroleum, but felt that they had more to do with Inner Earth, a possible entry point.

I had an epiphany years later when looking at a National Geographic map of the seamounts of the ocean bottom. Tracing along the Hawaiian Chain to Midway Island, I saw the volcanic seamounts continuing to the north, east of the Kamchatka Peninsula. Cutting through the eastern tip of Siberia, the last (and mostly likely the first) island in the Hawaiian chain was Wrangel.

The Hot Spot volcanism which created Hawaii and other seamount chains arising from beneath the ocean bottom is created by energy pools deep in the mantle. Most volcanoes are created by magma pools in the crust. There are possibly seventy Hot Spot Volcanoes created from beneath the crust. I wrote about them years ago. I believe understanding the planetary energy grids is only possible when including Hot Spot Volcanoes.

Wrangel Island is the first point along the Hawaiian Chain and thus the place where the deep energy pool was created. I believe the energy pool is Aetheric Coronal Elements (ACE) at great depths. Aetheric Coronal Elements are used in the Inner Earth for light and heat. In the crust, ACE is used for relieving tectonic pressures and the creation of new top soil from volcanic ash. In the mantle, ACE lubricates the structures beneath, keeping everything in the Expanding Earth pliable. The ACE energy pools are where new materials appear, stargated into the Earth from Source.

Looking at the National Geographical seamount map, I saw the history of the expansion of the Earth written on the ocean floor. I saw the days and nights of Earth history. I saw a world of infinite abundance.

Wrangel Island is important, but not for its petroleum.
